Adisseo has launched a partnership program aimed at increasing the use of amino acid-balanced formulation in dairy nutrition, with feed mills and dairy farmers at the center of the initiative. The program is designed to support more precise ration formulation while linking performance, profitability and environmental efficiency more closely together.
The company is positioning amino acid balancing as a practical way to address some of dairy farming’s most persistent pressures: producing more with fewer resources, supporting herd health and reproduction, and improving returns without adding unnecessary nutrient load. Adisseo notes that, despite years of evidence behind precision feeding, not all dairy diets are yet amino acid-balanced.
A key part of the program is the support being offered at both feed mill and farm level. Feed manufacturers are set to receive formulation guidance and access to protected liquid methionine solutions, while farmers are being offered ration strategies intended to improve economic performance and reduce nitrogen losses.
Adisseo also ties the initiative directly to farm economics. Citing an IFCN evaluation covering 18 typical European farms across nine countries, the company says amino acid balancing could raise annual income by EUR 293 per cow. Alongside the launch, it also points readers to its Milk$MART resource, which is built to help quantify the value of amino acid balancing in terms of milk output, cow health and reproductive efficiency.
Over the past three decades, Adisseo says millions of dairy cows worldwide have already benefited from amino acid-balanced diets, with gains tied to milk yield, milk components, lifetime performance, health and reproduction. That makes this latest move feel less like a new concept and more like an effort to push a proven feeding approach further into everyday commercial practice.
