At a packed veterinary congress drawing around 1,700 participants, Mehmet Kilic, Sales Manager at Anadolu Pet, told The Animal Economics that the company is proud to represent Hills, which he described as a global brand with a long-standing and “very strong bond” among veterinary professionals.
Kilic emphasized that Hills continues to invest heavily worldwide in research, development, and scientific infrastructure, with the goal of improving the quality of life of companion animals. “It is a reliable brand that constantly strengthens its foundation through research and development,” he said, adding that these efforts ultimately support better, more balanced nutrition for pets.
From Anadolu Pet’s perspective in Turkiye, the strength of Hills’ position in clinics is rooted in two pillars: science and trust. Kilic said veterinarians choose the brand widely because of its scientific work and the confidence that comes with it. In his view, Hills has become an essential presence in many practices, reflecting a common expectation he summarized simply: “Hills should be there.”
Beyond distribution, Anadolu Pet’s local strategy focuses on staying close to the veterinary community. Kilic pointed to the company’s involvement in congresses and scientific gatherings as a practical way to share product knowledge and highlight continuous improvements. He noted that these settings allow teams to meet face-to-face with clinicians, exchange ideas, and discuss new products, innovations, and ingredient content in detail.
Kilic also described the atmosphere at the event as highly positive, saying the strong attendance created real momentum for industry dialogue. For Anadolu Pet, he added, the opportunity to welcome visitors to the stand and hold in-depth conversations is one of the most valuable outcomes of participating in major professional meetings.
