Dechra Appoints Maggie Gregg as Chief People & Culture Officer

30/04/2026

Dechra has appointed Maggie Gregg as its new Chief People & Culture Officer, strengthening its global leadership structure as the company continues its next phase of growth.

Based in the United States, Gregg will lead Dechra’s global People & Culture strategy. According to Dechra’s official announcement, her role will include supporting capability development, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience across all regions.

The move may not be a product or market expansion announcement, but it is still meaningful from an animal health business perspective. In a global veterinary pharmaceutical company, talent strategy, organizational culture, and leadership development are closely connected to long-term competitiveness. As companies grow across regions, people-focused leadership becomes part of the infrastructure behind commercial execution, innovation, and customer support.

Gregg brings more than 25 years of international human resources experience across consumer products, retail, and digital businesses. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer at Nutrafol, where Dechra says she helped guide the company through a period of rapid growth that led to its acquisition by Unilever in late 2024. Her previous experience also includes senior roles at SaksOFF5TH.com, The Estee Lauder Companies, Apple, and Ann Taylor.

Dechra CEO Jesper Nordengaard said Gregg’s global HR experience and focus on building strong cultures will support the company as it shapes its future and supports employees around the world. Gregg said she is joining Dechra at an important moment and looks forward to working with global teams to help drive the company’s next chapter of growth.

For the animal health economy, the appointment underlines how global veterinary pharmaceutical companies are investing not only in products and markets, but also in internal capabilities that support sustainable growth.

The announcement was published on Dechra’s official news page.
