The Animal Health and Nutrition production facility, which was inaugurated in Egypt on September 12th, 2024, reflects the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for premixes and innovative feed additives from medium-sized and large farms and feed mills.
The new production unit will serve customers in Egypt, the Middle East, Southern Europe and Africa, and as underlined by the company’s commitment to excellence, the facility will provide dsm-firmenich customers with great confidence and comfort by increasing material reliability and offering top quality products. Covering an area of 10.000 square meters, the new facility is equipped with modern infrastructure and advanced technology from Bühler Technologies, and includes a plant control system integrated with barcoding. The facility is designed to achieve the highest standards in terms of production efficiency, food safety, quality and environmental sustainability with a production capacity of 10.000 tons per year. Production is carried out in accordance with the highest international quality and safety standards applicable to special feed raw materials.

Strategically located in Sadat, the facility aims to offer excellent logistical advantages and thus to provide fast delivery to its customers in the feed and animal protein sectors, both domestically and internationally. This facility, which is the 50th production center in dsm-firmenich’s global network, will strategically increase the company’s production capacity. It will enable dsm-firmenich to meet the needs of its growing customer base more effectively, while also stimulating local economic growth.
