ImmuCell Corporation has strengthened its Board of Directors with the addition of Gilles Guillemette and Dr. Anthony DiMarco, bringing deeper animal health, biologics, diagnostics, manufacturing, and strategic leadership experience to the company.
The update is confirmed on ImmuCell’s own Management and Directors page, where both executives are listed as Directors. ImmuCell’s investor news page also lists the board appointment announcement under the title “ImmuCell Bolsters its Innovation Strategy with Appointments of Dr. Gilles Guillemette and Dr. Anthony DiMarco to the Board, and Moves to a Smaller Board of Independent Directors.”
The appointments add sector-specific expertise to a company focused on animal health biologics and products that support calf health and productivity. In the dairy economy, calf health is closely linked to herd performance, long-term productivity, and the economics of preventive care.
Guillemette brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in animal health. According to ImmuCell, his background includes roles across publicly traded companies, private equity platforms, and founder-owned businesses in North America and Europe. He currently serves as an Operating Partner at ARCHIMED, where his work focuses on animal and environmental health.
Dr. DiMarco adds scientific and operational depth to the board. ImmuCell notes that he spent 21 years at IDEXX Laboratories, with leadership roles across regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and research and development, including Global Manufacturing and Infectious Disease R&D. He also previously held leadership positions at Abbott Laboratories in product development, scientific affairs, and quality assurance.
The board update gives ImmuCell a broader mix of veterinary, commercial, scientific, and operational experience. For a specialized company in calf health, this type of governance reinforcement can support both innovation strategy and market execution as biologics and preventive health tools gain importance in livestock health management.
