At the TuVECCA Congress in Turkiye, Oktay Diker, Marketing Manager at Lider Pet Food, introduced Longevity to veterinary professionals through what he described as a high-energy pre-launch meeting.
Diker said the brand’s motivation has long been centered on healthy and long living, positioning Longevity as a flagship product within the company’s super-premium pet food offering under the Reflex family. He added that the company wanted to bring the veterinary channel closer into the launch process by presenting the product to vets first, emphasizing the firm’s continued investment in Turkiye and its focus on engaging especially with young veterinarians.
Commenting on the congress atmosphere, Diker highlighted strong attendance as a positive signal for the sector and for the launch momentum. He also referenced a nutrition-focused session delivered by Pinar Sacakli, noting that the talk supported the product’s positioning and strengthened the overall message of the event.
Beyond the launch, Diker said Lider Pet Food operates across many sales channels in Turkiye, with the veterinary channel described as a priority but also a demanding one that requires sustained, long-term effort. He also stated that the company exports to more than 80 countries, and that industry congresses remain strategically important for building shared strength with veterinarians.
The interview also touched on a congress-linked social responsibility activity, where Diker said they participated and collaborated as sponsors under the Reflex Plus / Convite naming, stressing that the core goal should be togetherness and visibility around shared values, not only sales.
