Alltech Turkiye is entering 2026 with a clear message from its regional leadership: learn faster, move with purpose, and prove value on-farm.
In The Animal Economics interviews held after Alltech’s “Merhaba 2026” internal meeting in Izmir (Jan 15-16), Dr. Haluk Gulmez, Alltech Regional Director covering Turkiye as well as Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, North Cyprus and Macedonia, described a renewed organization that is trying to shift from a product-first conversation to a solutions and service mindset.
“We are built to keep learning”
Gulmez framed the “new and motivated Alltech Turkiye” narrative as both a continuation of a strong legacy and a reset in how the team works. He emphasized learning culture and execution speed: being open to learning first, then acting quickly with the company’s accumulated know-how and partner portfolio.
A personal leadership takeaway was delegation. Gulmez said real delegation is more than passing tasks; it requires different responsibilities and is something leaders can learn over time. He linked this leadership shift to how the organization is being updated: keeping the memory and contributions of experienced colleagues, while modernizing communications and ways of thinking for today’s market needs.
Expanding “what success looks like” across species
In the interview, Gulmez pointed to Alltech Turkiye’s established strength in ruminants and aquaculture, and outlined how the company wants to replicate that difference-making approach in poultry. In his view, success in prior segments came from combining strong technical support with daily operational relevance for customers, not just selling products.
He highlighted several 2026 focus themes the team is positioning in the field, including:
A leadership storyline for 2026: teams first, then growth
Across the conversation, one theme stood out: Gulmez sees the biggest change lever as people and capability-building. The “renewal” is presented not as a branding exercise, but as a practical way to strengthen service delivery, field execution, and customer outcomes across Turkiye’s major animal production segments.
