Royal Canin Turkiye spotlights dermatology nutrition at TuVECCA 2025, previews new clinical treats for 2026

08/01/2026

Royal Canin reinforced its veterinary-channel strategy at TuVECCA 2025 by putting dermatology-focused nutrition at the center of its congress presence, while also giving veterinarians an early look at new supportive “reward” treats expected to reach clinics in early 2026.

The 7th international TuVECCA Congress on Veterinary Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine drew more than 1,500 participants, underscoring its role as a major scientific and professional development platform for the veterinary community. At its stand, Royal Canin highlighted its dermatology series, aligned with the company’s “nutrition is the first medicine” approach in cat and dog nutrition.

With skin and coat concerns frequently appearing in everyday practice, the brand emphasized diets positioned to support skin and hair health, help reduce the risk of allergic reactions, and address the needs of animals with sensitive skin through targeted formulations. Royal Canin framed the dermatology range as both a quality-of-life lever for cats and dogs and a science-based support tool for veterinarians managing dermatological cases.

Samet Isik, Veterinary Channel Sales Manager at Royal Canin Turkiye, described TuVECCA as a unique venue for scientific exchange, up-to-date knowledge sharing, and professional development. He also stressed the value of direct engagement with veterinarians to share portfolio innovations and gather real-time feedback from the field.

Isik noted that TuVECCA 2025 was particularly significant for Royal Canin because the company introduced veterinarians—at the event—for the first time to new supportive treats planned to be available in clinics across Turkiye at the beginning of 2026. He positioned the upcoming products as more than a “tasty reward,” saying they are designed to support animal health and align with veterinary guidance during clinical routines.

TuVECCA 2025 once again served as a high-impact meeting point for veterinarians and industry stakeholders—while Royal Canin’s planned 2026 clinic rollout signals a continued push toward condition-focused nutrition and veterinary-led product innovation in the Turkiye market.
