At the TuVECCA Congress in Turkiye, Cenk Tepe, Companian Animal Business Unit Manager at MSD Animal Health, described why he believes veterinarians continue to see the company as a trusted partner: differentiated products, a customer-focused mindset, and rapid access to up-to-date medical information.

Tepe said MSD Animal Health’s portfolio stands out through “extraordinary” and needs-based product development, which he argued makes the company a preferred choice in the field and helps practitioners in daily work. Beyond products, he emphasized the company’s stakeholder-first approach, stating that customer needs remain the top priority.

A key operational point in his remarks was speed and accuracy of information. Tepe highlighted the importance of sharing correct, current medical information with veterinarians and other stakeholders as quickly as possible—positioning this as one of the most critical expectations in today’s animal health market.

He linked this approach to MSD Animal Health’s corporate motto, which he paraphrased as “Science for healthier animals,” saying the company aims to reflect that focus outward in every interaction.

The conversation also addressed MSD Animal Health’s activities at TuVECCA. Tepe said the company aimed to reach broader audiences through strong participation and a high-profile panel he described as “Champions League-level.” He credited Turkiye-based scientists who focus on the topic and produce research, and said one of MSD Animal Health’s missions is to connect these experts with sector stakeholders to strengthen knowledge-sharing and elevate the congress experience.

Tepe added that congresses remain an important opportunity for the sector, and said MSD Animal Health’s goal is to keep contributing each year—continually asking how to take the next step forward through stronger planning and action.
