Trouw Nutrition organized the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) Leadership Conference in Istanbul this year, bringing together important names in the sector. While projects for sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry practices were introduced at the conference, strategies for the Turkish market were discussed.
As part of the event, it was announced that the "Carbon Reduction Program", which aims to reduce carbon emissions in ruminant farms, and the "Layer Longevity Program", which optimizes resource use by extending the lifespan of animals in poultry farms, will be implemented in Turkey. In addition, the innovative feeding solution "Sprayfo - Ultimo calf food", which supports the healthy growth of calves, will be introduced to the market.
Trouw Nutrition Turkey Country Manager Gonca Altıntaş emphasized that Turkey is the second largest feed market in Europe and one of the ten largest in the world, and stated that the company will accelerate its investments in this direction. At the conference, where digitalization and sustainability-focused innovations were also discussed, Trouw Nutrition executives shared their strategic plans to achieve long-term growth and efficiency goals in the animal nutrition sector.
