Trust in Turkiye built through proven products, listening to vets, and steady portfolio growth

10/02/2026

At TuVECCA in Turkiye, Levent Erdem, Pet Business Unit Director at Zoetis, described how the company’s long-term relationship with veterinarians has evolved into a trust-based partnership—driven by consistent product expansion and a strong feedback culture.

Erdem said he has been with Zoetis for 20 years, recalling that the company initially had only a limited number of products in the market. Over time, he explained, Zoetis focused on bringing new products each year and connecting those solutions directly with veterinary professionals. He characterized the portfolio as “tested and reliable,” adding that meeting veterinarians and sharing these products has been personally meaningful for him as well as strategically important for the company.

According to Erdem, Zoetis’ presence in Turkiye is now supported by a larger team and a broader portfolio, with an ongoing priority: being close to veterinarians, listening to them, and taking their ideas and recommendations seriously. He suggested that this continuous listening loop—where feedback is central to decision-making—is a key factor behind the trust the company has built.

Commenting on the TuVECCA congress experience, Erdem cited attendance in the 1,700–1,800 range and said the event has been highly positive. He noted that veterinarians are benefiting from strong scientific presentations, while also engaging actively with sponsor companies. Erdem added that Zoetis’ stand has remained busy throughout the congress, with many veterinarians visiting to learn and exchange information.
