[BANGKOK, Thailand] – Alltech, a global leader in animal nutrition, has released the results of the Alltech 2025 Asia Import Risk Analysis. Now in its 4th edition,this report provides Asian feed and livestock producers with the insights needed to optimize nutritional strategies in the coming months. It uses data from the Alltech 2024 Harvest Analysis programs carried out across Europe and North America.

Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), today announced that the Animal Nutrition focused plant in Waspik, the Netherlands has officially reduced its direct emissions (Scope 1& 2) to report zero over 2024. It is the first Perstorp location with this exceptional distinction.

Perstorp, one of the world's most important organic acid producers, opened its facilities to guests from Turkiye, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. In the technical sections of the two-day program, presentations were made on Salmonella and Perstorp Animal Nutrition solution suggestions, while Perstorp's huge production facility in Stenungsund, Sweden, was greatly appreciated by the visitors.

The livestock sector in Turkiye is an important part of economic and agricultural development. However, challenges such as climate change, feed costs, diseases and inefficiency threaten the sustainability of the sector. One of the most innovative solutions used to overcome these problems is artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. So how is AI transforming livestock farming in Turkiye?

The 2024 Veterinary Health Products Evaluation Meeting organized by the Veterinary Health Products Manufacturers Association (VISAD) was successfully completed at the Titanic Deluxe Golf Hotel in Antalya between December 15th-18th. The main objectives of the meeting included creating a strong information sharing and communication network among stakeholders in the veterinary health products sector, developing solution proposals for problems encountered in the sector, and increasing cooperation between the Ministry and the sector. VISAD member companies, sector representatives, and officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry attended the meeting.

Considering the damage that traditional farming methods cause to the ecosystem, sustainable and green farming practices are becoming an inevitable necessity. This model increases soil fertility by preserving biodiversity, while offering farmers a more stable and profitable production opportunity in the long term. This farming model, which reduces chemical use and uses water and soil resources more efficiently, is seen as the most effective way to ensure food security in the future. Green farming, which adopts a production process in harmony with nature, both protects the ecological balance and minimizes environmental problems and provides economic sustainability in the long term.
